Convergence 2 cont’d

I am having a ball.

In fact, my idea of writer’s heaven is to be surrounded by a heap of people who want to talk ideas, writing, books, sff, reading, getting published…

Lovely to get together with old friends, make new ones, change acquaintances into friends (hi, Emma…) Do I have to go home?

I must take some photos.

Had a room party last night which was a blast. Haven’t laughed to much in a long time. Bless you, guys…

  1. Lucky you, I am envious. Please take photos, yes.

And tomorrow you get your first copy of Song of the Shiver Barrnes. Whee. 🙂

  2. Lord, how much did I hate walking out of that restaurant, leaving you behind with so much still left to say???!!!!????

I’m so pleased you’re having such a fantastic time. I can’t wait for Swancon. We will melt down the town.

  3. Hey Glenda! It was great getting to know you a bit better, and I hope I didn’t completely talk your ear off…I have a tendency to do that, and on topics people don’t particularly want to know about. But I digress. I hope you got home OK. Oh and did I tell you, someone (whose name I cannot remember now, but the guy with the long hair who often wore the black kilt) thought I was your daughter!

  4. Take heart, Emma, you don’t look in the least bit like me…lol…! And it was lovely to get to know you, too.

  5. Donna again.

Was it your first time to host a room party, Glenda? It was one of the best I’ve been too. Great convo…a bit of gin and people I care about. We’ll have to share again sometime…that way I can just roll over and go to sleep when I can’t take any more.
