Live in the UK? This is the day!

My daughter (who hasn’t yet read Stormlord Rising) went to her local Waterstones this week, only to be told that yes, they had the book in, but it was embargoed until today, release day.

That’s right. You can now go out and buy it! Right this minute! You can read it over the weekend. And post an Amazon review, or something.

(Do I sound desperate to know what you thought? How did you guess?)

Oh, and look – on the back of the book there is a tiny sneek preview of what the cover of Stormlord’s Exile looks like…

  1. I don't care what the cover looks like, where's the book? I know, I know!!! I am surprised your daughter hasn't read the book yet, I could have lent her my copy. On the other hand, I would have thought you would send your kids a freebie. You know I liked the book, I have mentioned it once or twice.

Seriously, is there a publishing date for Exile yet?

  2. I just wanted to say that the first book I read that you wrote was Stormlord Rising. I purchased it when The Last Stormlord came out in the US. I absolutely loved both books and wanted to read more that you wrote. B&N didn't have anything I could get, so I purchased the Isles of Glory series from various places on the internet. I just finished The Tainted (literally like 5 minutes ago) and am already trying to find more books I can read that you have written. Your books are fabulous and I can't wait to read more. Keep up the good work! p.s. can't wait till august…

  3. So, since November 3 (UK release date if remember correctly(I stay in SA))I have been hounding my local book shops, and at last, yesterday I got my hands on Stormlord Rising. My Christmas sorted! Amped!

  4. Hope Stormlord Rising meets expectations! I have just completed the copy edit for Stomrlord's Exile, and it goes into production in the new year. Publication date in Australia, UK and US is the same – beginning of August 2011.
