The Last Stormlord online

If you want a free look, The Last Stormlord is online at the Harper Collins site, for a limited time. Two weeks I think.

Of course, our hope is that you:
a) like it so much you rush out and buy half a dozen copies
b) like it so much that you will blog and tweet about it till your fingers are sore
b) like it so much you will buy books two and three when they become available
c) like it so much you will tell friends, family, co-workers, enemies, strangers on the street, plus any odd aliens you happen to meet, that they have to go out and buy it too.

If you don’t, I’ll make you the villain in book three.

Happy reading!

  1. It is the whole book! I've just finished reading the third chapter, and have to say it's my favourite Glenda Larke story yet. Think I'll wait 'til amazon.co.uk sends me my pre-ordered copy to finish it though. 😉

  2. Yes,the whole book is there. I think Voyager are gambling that the book is so good, people will buy it anyway, or at the very least they will certainly go on and buy book 2 and there will be more people doing so because there are more people reading book 1.

Like most authors, I am saying, 'Uh? Really? Is it that good?'and shaking in my authorial shoes.

I did ok it, of course, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I don't lose by it. It is a huge gamble. And of course, you can't build a fence around something up on the internet. If things went horribly wrong, my US and UK sales also go down the tubes!

    Hey, isn't life exciting??

  3. Well, I guess they know what they are doing, but I am not sure I would buy a book I had read on the internet although, as you say, I would probably be encouraged to buy 2 and 3 when they come out. Of course there will be lots of people who don't read it and will pick it up later when its fully available.
