These snapshot interviews are a whole series in the run-up to the Australian National SF Con, which, alas, I will not be attending this year.
And in other news, I have submitted The Lascar’s Dagger to my publisher for their perusal. and the the waiting begins…
It still has some polishing to be done, but I’m fairly happy with it. (One of the privileges of being a previously published author is that your publisher will cut you some slack with the rough spots or typos in a manuscript.)
Great interview. I have my fingers and toes and eyes crossed that your book is published soon. I'd write them a letter if it would help!!
Maybe a bribe might be a better bet…? 🙂
I do hope you are wrong about water wars, but I too can see it happening way in the future, hopefully, when I am not around to be affected by it. In the parts of the world where I have lived, we are incredibly casual about the stuff. What really shook me was a programme I saw about India, which included a segment on the Ganges, what a filthy river, and yet they dunk themselves in the waters. Yuk.
I was born & grew up in Indonesia (living in Sydney now) so I'm really looking forward to the release of 'The Lascar's Dagger'.
Expected date?
I wish I knew, Tiensblurb. I haven't even got a contract for it yet!
Fingers crossed for the new book. I am very much looking forward to reading it!
