  1. Probably. It's in just about all detergents and many many other things – cosmetics, lubricating grease and oils, cooking oils and margarines, candles, printing ink, glue, for example.

    Without the oil palm industry, countries like Malaysia would be screwed. But the enviromental impact of replacing rainforest with monoculture of any kind is heartbreaking too…
