Just five minutes ago I have held one of your books in my hands and thought, is there something new I maybe missed? And then I found your update. Honestly, yes I'm waiting for a new book written by you, the sooner the better, but I rather wait one or two years longer and read a book you are happy with than a book that feels rushed. Writing is art for me and art needs time.

In reply to <a href="https://glendalarke.com/2021/07/overdue-updating/#comment-26354">Steph</a>.

I have found my reading matter has changed with Covid. I read two books a month for book groups and have not much say in their selection, but for my own personal reading I am choosing a lot of whodunits rather than F/SF. I'm think it's because I find them more restful! I don't have to concentrate so much. But maybe you are right -- one should go back to old favourites in order to relax!

So sorry to hear about your family. I hope it all gets better soon. It's been too long since I properly made time for reading, which seems silly given all of the lock down time. Might have to dig out one of the old favourites!
