Well, I guess they know what they are doing, but I am not sure I would buy a book I had read on the internet although, as you say, I would probably be encouraged to buy 2 and 3 when they come out. Of course there will be lots of people who don't read it and will pick it up later when its fully available.

Yes,the whole book is there. I think Voyager are gambling that the book is so good, people will buy it anyway, or at the very least they will certainly go on and buy book 2 and there will be more people doing so because there are more people reading book 1.

Like most authors, I am saying, 'Uh? Really? Is it that good?'and shaking in my authorial shoes.

I did ok it, of course, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I don't lose by it. It is a huge gamble. And of course, you can't build a fence around something up on the internet. If things went horribly wrong, my US and UK sales also go down the tubes!

It is the whole book! I've just finished reading the third chapter, and have to say it's my favourite Glenda Larke story yet. Think I'll wait 'til amazon.co.uk sends me my pre-ordered copy to finish it though. 😉
