The dog greeted her joyfully although the owners hadn’t a clue who she was. Mind you she did have the most wonderful rapport with animals.

I have known her since 1997 when she was a Boston cat, living in a skunk-ridden area…for the first few years, though, she forgot me from one visit to the next. Not now for sure.

She now lives mostly upstairs, with only occasional forays outside. Getting old, don’t you know.
