Actually I would love to go to Tuscany – because of the food of course. If my geography isn’t too bad, Lake Como is up north a bit. We have friends who have an apartment up thataway somewhere – the have invited us to visit next time we go over to the UK.

Never been to Como, but that was southern Italy. Still the food should be good so I envy you, and I am not talking pizza and pasta which is what North Americans think of when one talks of Italian food. For some reason, Vitello Tonato comes to mind, delicious. Even made it ourselves once.

The setting was a beautiful mansion on the shore of the lake with spectacular views over the water.

Glenda, the constant haze around Italian cities is due to their love affair with motor vehicles and minimum public transport.
