Aw, you took most of the good ones, Glenda, although I like kendall's Morlock theory. Actually, though, they are trees that took a look at the world today and are turning themselves inside out to escape. I have so been at Clarion too long.

Perhaps it's one of those 'community areas' which lie waste for years while the powers-that-be argue the toss over what's the best thing to put there. (We have some of those.)
