The fact that you managed to get Havenstar up to publishable standard without help, Glenda, overawes me. Most of what I’ve learnt, I’ve learnt through groups. As well as OWW, I also belong to a face-to-face one which is basically the beta-reading group for a “real” writer. She’s actually given us a mention in her latest and we laughed, saying that maybe this will be the one time we get our names in print!

They finally got Mirage in the stores last week, but I had to wait until pay day to grab my copy. I’m loving it and can see why it’s top of the pops in Sydney town.

Carry on enjoying yourself in Virginia, Glenda. It sounds like a beautiful spring you’re having. I spent one spring and summer in West Virginia and still remember the dogwoods and the lovely, lovely birds – cardinals, scarlet tanagers, real live bluebirds…We have beautiful parrots here but to my knowledge, no monochrome ones in such gorgeous shades!
